Mirell Gallo is absolutely incredible! This was my and my husbands first time buying a home and we were naturally pretty nervous! We couldn't have been more thrilled with Mirell. We met her at an event for the Preservation Resource Center and she wowed us right out of the gate! She was kind, warm, confident and knowledgeable and we knew that she would be perfect for us! She put us at ease each and every step of the way. Before we began our search she took time on a Saturday morning to meet us for coffee and get to know us. She wanted to make sure she had a good sense of us as well as our wants and our needs for a home. During our search for our perfect home (our definition of perfect changing many times along the way) she was so patient and so helpful! She was always quick to answer questions, help us hash out details and give us insight and advice. Once we landed on our home, she talked us through each step in great detail and made certain we were comfortable! She really knows her stuff! She was beyond helpful with recommendations and scheduling and we felt so taken care of. We crossed the finish line last week and we are settling into our perfect new home! I would happily rewind and do this all again with Mirell in my corner. I can not wait to recommend Mirell to anyone who asks!!
Mirell Gallo has been a real estate agent since 2014 and joined Reve Realtors in
2018. A historic home specialist with the Preservation Resource Center, her focus is
on first-time homebuyers -- holding their hands through what can be a stressful,
emotional process, helping negotiate, explaining legalese, offering moral support,
and making sure they’re comfortable with their decisions.
Having earned degrees in psychology, business and law, Gallo finds that all three
come into play for her on a daily basis. Along with a lifelong penchant for
architecture, interior design, and renovation, she realizes that all along, she’s been
cultivating skills that are useful in real estate.
Known as a patient, creative and communicative agent, Gallo offers up this pearl:
“After closing on her first home, one of my clients asked if I would be her "life
coach”. I took it to heart, because it meant that I had offered the kind of support
she needed.” Never too busy to respond in a timely manner, she’s always willing
and able to discuss the minutia of a transaction and give a client her full
When not working, Gallo is passionate about traveling the world and renovating
her home in Bayou St. John -- including collecting and scavenging for vintage
pieces, refinishing and re-upholstering furniture, sewing pillows and curtains, and
tackling DIY projects.
